LPSCAgenda provides plain-English summaries of public Louisiana civic documents, including Louisiana Public Service Commission agenda items and Louisiana Legislature bills.

Information the app collects

The iPhone app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, location, contacts, photos, or payment information.

If you use the in-app issue report form, we collect the report text you submit, the public item you reported, and any optional contact information you choose to provide.

Backend and diagnostics

The backend may receive ordinary server logs such as request path, time, status code, and network metadata needed to operate and secure the service. These logs are used for debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability monitoring.

AI summaries

Official public-source text may be sent to an AI model provider to generate summaries. Issue reports may be reviewed by a human operator to improve summary quality. Do not submit sensitive personal information in issue reports.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers only as needed to operate the app, host the backend, generate summaries, and process user-submitted issue reports.

Data retention

Cached public agenda and bill data may be retained to keep the app useful offline and to reduce repeated processing. Issue reports are retained as long as needed to investigate and improve summary quality.

Your choices

You can avoid submitting contact information by leaving the optional contact field blank. Deletion requests for optional contact information can be submitted through the app’s issue report flow.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be submitted through the app’s issue report flow. A dedicated support email will be added before public App Store release.
